She was married to Michael Clark for 65 years, and is survived by her son Robert Clark (Luba), daughter Cathy Fawcett, and grandchildren Allie, Jake, Ethan, Jack, and Andrew. She is also survived by her brother, William Atkins, and many nieces and nephews.
Sandra was a member of First Baptist Church in Leachville, and she attended Monette. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, T.J. Mathis. Sandra Clark Morton passed away peacefully on May 3, 2020, in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. She was born March 15, 1942, in Springfield, MA. She was the daughter of Lieutenant Commander Douglas Graeme Clark and Florence Ada Hazen. She was raised on a farm in Woodbridge, CT. She graduated from Hillhouse High School in 1960, where she was co-editor-in-chief of the school’s newspaper. She also went on to graduate from Wellesley College with honors in 1964.
